| Bio: |  Born in Long Island, New York as an only child to Howard and Maria Stark, Tony's high intelligence had always been apparent from a young age. Whe he was 15 Stark entered the undergraduate electrical engineering program at MIT (the Massachusetts Institute of Technology), in which he graduated at the top of his class. Though his childhood was short it seemed that even his young adulthood was cut as well, when he was 21 he inherited his family's company (Stark Enterprises), both parents having passed on in a tragic car accident. He set out to wrong that right however, purchasing the company that had sold the faulty brakes, correcting the mechanical issue that had been the very cause of his parent's accident. With plenty of success to bolster his company to the top, Stark had begun to design new weapons in order to aid the U.S. military in the battle that had currently engulfed Afghanistan. During a trip to display the prowess of his new missile design to the airforce, he was severely injured in an ambush by the opposing troops and kidnapped; refused medical aid for the piece of shrapnel that was slowly inching it's way to his heart..that is unless he'd resign himself to designing weapons for the Afghan forces. With access to a workshop, Stark had made it appear as if he'd lost hope and simply given into the demands, when in actuality he'd kept his dreams of escape and decide to use a bit of creativity to aid in his dreams. Though crude and rather bulky, the beginnings of the handcrafted power armor was everything Stark had needed. Equipped when a pace maker and flamethrower, he quickly broke free of his cell, taking down the men who'd held him captive, and killing the leader. On the way back to safe ground, he encountered a wounded helicopter pilot from the air force while still in his suit; claiming himself to be Stark's bodyguard the two made their way back to American lines all while defending themselves from attacking Afghan troops. Back in the U.S. Stark continued to improve upon the armor that had ended up saving his life, as well as expanding on Stark Industries to Stark International. He up a dual identity for himself, taking up the codename Iron Man who's cover is that of Stark's bodyguard and also as a mascot for the company. He ended up financially backing the superhero team known as The Avengers, all the while keeping his identity a complete secret to all but two people in his life. After all, who would suspect the womanizing and often drunk Tony Stark to be the righteous and upstanding hero that Iron Man personified? He soon became the corporate sponsor of the supergroup known as The Avengers, with his alter ego Iron Man helping to found the group along with four other superheroes, donating the mansion he grew up in as a headquarters for the group. He uses his intelligence and freetime to design and create technology for other superheroes. Strengths: In the beginning Stark had been without any powers of his own; relying on his suit heavily to bring him through any battles that may have faced him. But after a battle with an overpowered foe, Stark had injected his system with a nanotech virus to save himself from the strain the high powered suit had caused on his nervous system. With the virus the inner layers of Stark's suit are now stored in the hollow of his bones, allowing him to control the armor with his mind alone. With the added ability of being able to communicate through external communication systems, the new fusion has seemed to have given his suit superspeed reactions and a healing factor strong enough to regrow organs. His suit also allows him flight through high powered thrusters, super strength, and physical protection from any attack. Made up of molecularly aligned matrixes of crystallized iron enhanced by magnetic fields over layers of other metals, it's powered by a combination of solar converters, battery power, and an onboard generator with the ability to draw energy from other forces for a quick power up if need be. With it's own life support capabilities, the suit can be sealed up for underwater use and is completely shielded against radiation. Hiding a wide array of weapons, the suit is equipped with repulsor rays, pulse beams, missile launchers, lasers, tasers, and flamethrowers; along with the unibeam on his chest which can emit different light energies. His helmet is also set with scanners, recorders, and communication equipment. Weaknesses: Stark's greatest weakness seems to be nothing in his suit's design but on his own as a person; his dependence on alcohol growing heavier and heavier with each business related threat. Though broken of his addictions in the past, it simply seems to be a part of the man's life that comes back to hit him in full force. (I'm not Robert downey Jr or Tony Stark, this is just for a game.
